J-Salon Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the conditions for using J-Salon (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"), a beauty salon reservation agency service. Customers (hereinafter referred to as "Users") shall use the Service only after agreeing to these Terms.
Article 1
Service Description
- The Service is a beauty salon reservation agency that selects an appropriate salon based on the User’s desired location, budget, conditions, and treatment details, shares the treatment information with the salon in advance, and completes the reservation on behalf of the User.
- The Service does not engage in the treatments themselves conducted at the salon and assumes no responsibility. Treatments are carried out under a contract between the User and the salon.
- In principle, the Service handles reservations only for salons located within Japan. Some regions may not be supported. The Service determines availability and notifies the User accordingly.
Article 2
Fees and Charging Structure

The Service fees consist of the following:
- Salon treatment fees
- Reservation handling fees

Regarding salon treatment fees:
- Treatment fees vary depending on the salon and the type of treatment. Users should confirm details directly with the salon.
- Salon treatment fees shall be paid directly by the User at the salon.
- Fees confirmed by the Service at the time of reservation may change due to sudden price increases or information update delays. The Service is not responsible for any differences.
- The Service is not responsible for accidents, treatment issues, or disputes at the salon; these are to be resolved between the User and the salon.

Regarding reservation handling fees:
- Fees for the Service’s counseling, salon selection, and reservation processing.
- Reservation handling fees are posted on the website and may change without prior notice.
Article 3
Payment Method
- Payments shall be made in advance by credit card using the Stripe payment platform.
- The Service begins providing services after payment has been confirmed.
- In principle, no refunds will be issued for any reason (see Article 9 for details).
Article 4
Information Provided by Users
- Users shall submit their requested treatment details, location, and conditions through the designated form within one week in principle.
- If no response is received within one week without prior notice, the Service may terminate provision, and no refund will be issued.
- Users guarantee that the information provided is accurate and up-to-date. The User is responsible for any disadvantage arising from incorrect information.
Article 5
Communication and Notifications
- The Service communicates via WhatsApp or email.
- Service hours are from 10:00 to 19:00 (JST); replies outside these hours may be sent on the next business day.
- Users must respond promptly to the Service’s communications.
- If the email address or other contact information becomes unavailable, the User must promptly notify the Service and update registration information.
- Notifications sent by the Service are deemed delivered upon transmission.
- If the User fails to respond within a certain period (e.g., 7 days), the Service may terminate provision or take other measures.
- Users bear all responsibility for disadvantages arising from incomplete or delayed registration updates.
Article 6
Service Period
- The Service period begins on the day the User requests the Service and lasts up to one year.
- The Service is deemed complete once the reservation is confirmed.
- If communication is interrupted due to the User’s circumstances or reservation intent cannot be confirmed, the Service may terminate its obligations.
- No support, refunds, or consultation will be provided after the service period ends.
Article 7
Reservation Changes and Cancellations
- Users must notify the Service promptly through the designated communication method (WhatsApp or email) for any changes or cancellations.
- The following fees may apply:
- Salon treatment fee: as per the salon’s rules; generally not charged but may vary by salon.
- Reservation change fee: 20 USD
- Changes within 5 days before the scheduled date are generally not allowed. In such cases:
- Salon treatment fee: 100% cancellation fee applies
- Reservation change fee: 20 USD
- Once the Service has made the reservation, the contract relationship transfers to the User, and any further handling is subject to the salon’s policies.
- Any additional fees incurred due to the User’s late arrival or no-show shall be borne entirely by the User.
- The Service completes provision once the salon reservation is confirmed based on the User’s preferences. The Service bears no responsibility for treatment content, response, price changes, disputes, or incidents after the reservation is confirmed.
- If changes are required due to the salon’s circumstances (staff illness, equipment issues, operational reasons, etc.), the Service will promptly notify the User and arrange an alternative date or salon. No additional fees will apply for these changes.
Article 8
Reservation Confirmation
- Upon receiving the form, the Service selects a suitable salon via text communication.
- The Service will make the reservation within one week after consulting with the User.
- The User will be notified promptly of the reservation details.
- The User can receive the treatment by presenting their name at the salon.
Article 9
Prerequisites for Service Provision
- If the User violates these Terms, the Service may suspend use or terminate the contract.
- The Service is not responsible for damages caused by reasons attributable to the User.
Article 10
Refund Policy
- In principle, no refunds will be issued.
- Refunds are not granted under the following circumstances:
- Cancellation or delayed response by the User
- Changes or unavailability due to salon circumstances
- Force majeure, such as disasters, transportation issues, or illness
- Dissatisfaction, issues, or damage related to treatments
- In cases of serious negligence by the Service, refunds will be provided only up to the reservation handling fee.
- Salon treatment fees and other costs are never covered by the Service.
Article 11
Fee Revisions
- The Service may revise fees and handling charges without prior notice. Revised fees take effect upon announcement.
Article 12
Representations, Warranties, and Responsibility for Provided Materials
- Users guarantee that any text, images, or data provided to the Service (hereinafter "Provided Materials") do not infringe third-party rights.
- Users are responsible for resolving any disputes with third parties arising from Provided Materials at their own cost.
Article 13
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
- The Service assumes no responsibility for:
- Treatment quality, accidents, or damage at salons
- Disputes or issues with salons
- Changes in salon fees
- Damages from incorrect Provided Materials
- Reservation failures or losses due to communication delays
- Any liability is limited to the reservation handling fee paid by the User.
- Special damages, indirect damages, and lost profits are excluded.
- The Service selects salons based on the User’s preferences but does not guarantee treatment outcomes, technical level, or quality.
- The Service is not responsible for allergic reactions, health issues, or other problems related to treatments. Users must report their health and allergy information to the salon.
- The Service bears no responsibility for any incidents occurring at the salon after reservation confirmation.
Article 14
Exclusion of Antisocial Forces
- Users and the Service guarantee no involvement with antisocial forces such as organized crime. If violations are found, the contract may be terminated immediately.
Article 15
Personal Information Management
- The Service manages personal information appropriately and will not disclose it to third parties without permission (except as required by law).
Article 16
Privacy Policy and Third-Party Provision
- The Service provides User information to salons as necessary. Service provision is not possible without this consent.
Article 17
Force Majeure
- The Service is not liable for inability to provide services due to natural disasters, war, riots, communication failures, or other force majeure events.
Article 18
Prohibited Activities
- Users shall not:
- Violate Japanese law or other applicable laws
- Act contrary to public order and morals
- Infringe third-party or Service intellectual property, portrait rights, privacy, or other rights
- Commit fraud, provide false information, or suggest involvement with antisocial forces
- Interfere with the Service or third-party operations (excessive requests, harassment, obstruction)
- Ignore communications, intentionally delay responses, or cancel reservations without notice
- Engage in any other conduct deemed inappropriate by the Service
- Users are responsible for resolving any damages caused and compensating the Service for losses.
Article 19
Contract Termination
- The Service may terminate the contract or suspend service without notice if the User:
- Violates these Terms
- Delays payment and fails to rectify after notification
- Provides false, inaccurate, or substantially incomplete information
- Is found involved with antisocial forces
- Fails to respond to Service communications within a set period
- Is otherwise deemed by the Service to be difficult or inappropriate to continue service
- No refunds will be issued for payments already made.
Article 20
Service Termination
- The Service may terminate all or part of the service due to operational reasons, policy changes, or force majeure.
- The Service will notify Users in advance as much as possible, except in urgent cases.
- The Service is not responsible for any losses (including lost profits or alternative service costs) caused by service termination.
- No refunds will be provided for completed or ongoing services at termination.
Article 21
Governing Language
- The official language of these Terms is Japanese. In case of discrepancies with translations, Japanese takes precedence.
Article 22
Revision of Terms
- The Service may revise these Terms at any time. Revised Terms take effect upon announcement.
Article 23
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by Japanese law.
- Any dispute arising from the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court in the Service operator’s location.
